A few new screenshots of the general features of LCM, as well as highlights of the new features which will be present in the next stable release. The page is not complete at the moment, since we are taking the opportunity to improve this website at the same time, but feel free to comment.
Main screen of the system
Once the user has logged into the system, the main page presents the latest cases of the user. Below it (not shown on the image) is the list of the latest follow-ups on those cases. This allows to see exactly what has changed recently on those cases, which is practical for situations where many users are working on the same cases.
Form to create a new case
The form to create a new case now allows to create a new client at the same time, as well as the initial follow-up. Previously, it was necessary to jump through 3 different forms to do this.
New case: search for existing cases/clients
Instead of creating a new case, the user can first check whether the case already exists (in a similar way, it is also possible to search for the client’s name first, then see if the case has already been opened). This reduces the chances that the same case is opened twice.
Add follow-up to case, after finding its case
If an existing case was found, we can directly add the new follow-up, without having to start a new form.
Form to create a new internal request
Internal requests may be anything which must be approved by the management. They may be linked to a specific case or not, and their "types" can be customised using the keywords.
New internal requests: other users on the case can comment on the request and system administrators can accept/refuse it.
Documents attached to a case
Now more colorful, with the icons associated to the file type (pdf, odt, doc, etc.)
